FREE INSTALLATION: This greenhouse includes free installation. Because of this it is better made than other greenhouses. Everything possible is done to speed up installation and minimize problems on site. Even the glass and glazing beads are factory fitted. The result is better quality greenhouses which are fitted quickly with few complications. Features of these greenhouses include careful construction with high quality components and fewer problems.

DWARF WALLS: Dwarf walls are 900mm high in your choice of brick or stone. You can choose engineering bricks for durability or you may be able to closely match the walls of your existing property. Dwarf walls offer maximum heat retention in the winter and are ideal for growing shade-loving plants such as ferns. The dwarf walls are not included. WESTERN RED CEDAR: Cedar is a naturally resilient timber which lasts longer than pine and other softwoods even if never treated from new. Western Red Cedar is a sustainable resource from North America.
TOUGHENED GLASS: Toughened safety glass is the best glazing material for use in greenhouses. It is around 6 times stronger than normal glass so it is less likely to break and when it does break toughened glass breaks into harmless small pieces. Toughened glass is also heavy which helps to resist wind. Full height toughened glass is supplied in larger size panes of glass with no overlapping glass.
LENGTH AND WIDTH: In the SIZES & PRICES chart the first dimension listed is the width and the second dimension is the length. The width refers to the angled gable wall. All sizes quoted are the external greenhouse sizes unless stated otherwise.

Cedar slatted staging with heavy duty 19mm thick cedar slats. This staging is offered in a choice of golden brown treatment or a green or white microporous paint finish. Staging is supplied 20" wide (520mm) to suit 6'5" greenhouses, 28" wide (700mm) to suit 7'8" greenhouses and 36" wide (908mm) to suit 10'0" greenhouses.
High level shelving 12" wide (300mm) with heavy duty 19mm thick cedar slats, length to suit the greenhouse. This shelving is offered in a choice of golden brown treatment or a green or white microporous paint finish.

WHITE OR GREEN PAINT FINISH: The price includes treatment with a good quality microporous woodstain which is impervious to water but not to water vapour. This allows the wood to breathe. Microporous woodstains offer superior absorption and protection plus greater durability.
HEATERS: We offer a huge range of heaters and whatever your specific heating requirements we have a heater to do the job. Electric heaters normally require a standard domestic 13 amp electricity supply. Propane gas heaters require ventilation when in use. A 3kw heater provides heating for a greenhouse up to 8'x12' or frost protection for a greenhouse up to 10'x15' in normal site conditions. Heating requirements vary greatly with less heat required in a sheltered location or a lean to and more heat required in Scotland than in Southern England. Wooden greenhouses are normally cheaper to heat than aluminium greenhouses.
