  TELL US WHICH DAY: You need to tell us when to deliver, whichever option you choose. We cannot deliver unless you tell us which day. You can select a delivery day when you order online or if you order by phone. Alternatively, you can order without specifying a day and request delivery later by phone or email.

  NEXT DAY DELIVERY: Next day delivery is available throughout mainland England, Wales, southern and central Scotland, Northern Ireland and County Dublin. We deliver the next working day if requested before 12 noon. For example, to request delivery on Monday just contact us before 12 noon on Friday.

  DELAYED DELIVERY: You can request a delivery day weeks in advance or you can wait to choose a delivery day later. We can deliver on any weekday of your choice, just contact us before 12 noon the day before.

  SCOTLAND: Delivery is normally next day to all mainland addresses in AB, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, IV1-2, IV12-13, IV30-36, KA, KY, ML, PA1-19, PA21-27, PH1-26 and TD postcodes. Delivery is a day later with 48 hour delivery to mainland addresses in all other postcodes.

  OFFSHORE ISLANDS: Delivery is normally next day to the Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles and the Channel Islands. Delivery to the Scottish Islands and the Isle of Man is a day later with 48 hour delivery.

  IRELAND: Delivery is normally next day throughout Northern Ireland and County Dublin. Delivery to all other counties in the Republic of Ireland is a day later with 48 hour delivery. To see the correct prices in the Republic of Ireland enter the fictitious postcodes BT98 for County Dublin or BT99 for all other counties.

  48 HOUR DELIVERY: In some areas next day delivery is not possible. 48 hour delivery is the only option in Northern Scotland, the Scottish Islands, the Isle of Man and the Republic of Ireland except County Dublin. In these areas the AM, PM and Saturday delivery options are also not available. We can deliver on any weekday of your choice, just contact us before 12 noon two days before. For example, to request delivery on Monday just contact us before 12 noon on Thursday.

  AM OR PM DELIVERY: This low cost option is available throughout mainland England and Wales except in CA18-19, LA11 and LA17-21. The AM or PM delivery option is also available in Scotland in AB10-16, AB21-25, DD1-5, DG, EH1-35, EH39, EH41, EH45-55, FK1-13, G1-62, G64-82, G84, KA1-25, KY1-8, KY11-12, ML1-11, PA1-8, PA14-16, PH1-2 and all TD postcodes. The AM or PM delivery service is also available in Ireland in BT1-23, BT26-28, BT36, BT41-43 and in County Dublin. This service is not available at any offshore address. If your delivery is outside the specified time the charge will be fully refunded.

  SATURDAY DELIVERY: This low cost option is available at any mainland address in England or Wales. Saturday delivery is also available in Scotland in AB10-16, AB21-22, AB24-25, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, KA1-26, KA29-30, KY, ML, PA1-19, PH1-18 and TD postcodes. The Saturday delivery service is not available in Northern Scotland or Ireland or at any offshore address. To request delivery on Saturday just contact us before 12 noon on Friday.

  TWIN WALL POLYCARBONATE: Twin wall polycarbonate glazing is far stronger than the flimsy single skin polycarbonate sheeting supplied with other greenhouses. Twin wall polycarbonate is virtually unbreakable and easy to handle, so its safe for the whole family. It provides good insulation from frost and maintains a more even temperature for better plant growth. Twin wall polycarbonate also diffuses light to prevent scorching.

  POWDER COATED ALUMINIUM: The powder coated finish is more attractive than the stark silver grey colour of mill finish aluminium. It also has excellent weathering properties and retains its gloss and colour superbly. A good example of the finish achieved with powder coating is the finish on your washing machine, which is very similar to our powder coated greenhouses. The optional base plinth is also powder coated to match the greenhouse frame.

  LENGTH AND WIDTH: In the SIZES & PRICES chart the first dimension listed is the width and the second dimension is the length. The width refers to the angled gable wall. All sizes quoted are the external greenhouse sizes unless stated otherwise.

  BASE DIMENSIONS: The external base plinth is 1920mm wide x 1920mm long x 130mm high. An alternative base can be made using timber, metal, bricks or concrete. It should be made to the same size as the base plinth.

  HALF PRICE BASE PLINTH: The optional base plinth is currently half price compared with the price when purchased separately.

  BASE PLINTH: The optional base plinth makes installation much easier. It can be placed on any flat and level surface incuding soil, gravel, concrete or paving slabs. The base is green powder coated to match the greenhouse frame. An extra green coat is added after cutting and drilling so there are no bare metal edges which ensures greater durability.

  BASE ANCHORS: Base anchor pegs are provided to fix the base plinth into soil. However if your greenhouse is sited on concrete or slabs it is advisable to fix the base plinth down. We offer base anchor fixing kits as a low cost option or the base can be secured using screws and wall plugs. In less sheltered locations it is advisable to install the greenhouse on a concrete or paving slab base and to secure it in place with suitable fixings.

  VENTILATION: Additional ventilation will improve the air circulation through the greenhouse for better growing results. Automatic openers react to heat to ensure that in hot weather the window will ventilate in your absence. A low level louvred ventilator will provide a healthy air flow through the greenhouse to ensure improved growing conditions and better crops. You should consider which plants you may grow because some plants such as alpines require more ventilation than others.

  HEATERS: We offer a huge range of heaters and whatever your specific heating requirements we have a heater to do the job. Electric heaters normally require a standard domestic 13 amp electricity supply. Propane gas heaters require ventilation when in use. A 3kw heater provides heating for a greenhouse up to 8'x12' or frost protection for a greenhouse up to 10'x15' in normal site conditions. Heating requirements vary greatly with less heat required in a sheltered location or a lean to and more heat required in Scotland than in Southern England. Wooden greenhouses are normally cheaper to heat than aluminium greenhouses.
