The soil moisture meter is very simple to use. Just insert the probe into the ground, wait for one minute and then read the dial. A reading of less than 3 indicates dry soil and a reading of over 8 indicates wet soil. A reading of between 3 and 8 indicates moist soil. Some plants such as Cacti prefer dry soil and aquatic plants prefer wet soil, but most plants prefer moist or damp soil. |
